Battlefords RCMP responded to less than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Included was one false/nuisance 911 call.
Monday
11:29 a.m. - Caller reporting they are missing four to six bottles of water and suspects they were stolen, then called back shortly after to report she had found the missing bottles, she had just not counted properly.
4:49 p.m. - Report of arson to a garage on 106th Street. Son and friend of son of complainant responsible. Minor damage reported.
5:25 p.m. - Theft of gas on 100th Street. Suspect vehicle described as a silver Yukon, unknown plates, with two men in vehicle, last scene driving west on 18th Avenue.
6:13 p.m. - Report of a stolen iPod, which was discovered to have been loaned out and not yet returned. Same returned to owner later in evening.
7:58 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man on 101st Street, approached complainant and stated he wanted to talk to someone before he started shooting people. He shortly thereafter had the opportunity to speak to numerous police officers. 45-year-old man arrested without incident. No firearms located. Charges at this time still pending.
8:10 p.m. - Report of a woman throwing things around and breaking them in a home on 110th Street. Matter was domestic argument. Woman provided a ride to a relatives residence to keep the peace for the evening.
10:10 p.m. - Noise complaint on 109th Street, two persons having a loud argument. Nothing criminal reported. Subjects warned.
Tuesday
3:48 a.m. - Suspicious persons knocking at a door to a residence on 102nd Street and now walking north down street, possibly intoxicated. Patrols of area negative.
