Shoplifter located: charges pending

Between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service.

Tuesday

10:01 a.m. - Members requested to assist ambulance with transportation of patient to hospital.

11:00 a.m. - Vehicle taken by a family member without consent of owner from 1400 block of 114th Street. Vehicle not located. No charges pursued.

1:35 p.m. - Theft/shoplifting reported from Frontier Mall. Suspect located and identified by members. Charges still pending.

3:21 p.m. - Child welfare report/assault. Investigation still in preliminary stages. No injuries alleged.

3:38 p.m. - Assault reported against an employee of Co-op Mall by unknown perpetrator. Matter still under investigation.

6:27 p.m. - 63-year-old male arrested for public intoxication after complaint he was causing a disturbance near 101st Street and 12th Avenue. Held in custody until sober.

8:45 p.m. - Vehicle window damaged while parked on 1200 block of 98th Street.

9:00 p.m. - Theft of purse from a vehicle parked on 1300 block of 108th Street.

10:00 p.m. - 911 dispatch of a domestic dispute on 1400 block of 101st Street. Suspect originally fled scene but was located a short time later and arrested. A 37-year-old man from North Battleford is facing charges of assault and possession of marijuana. He has since been released from custody on conditions and will be scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court.

Wednesday

2:47 a.m. - Loud party/music complaint on 105th Street.

2:55 a.m. - 32-year-old female arrested after report of intoxicated woman refusing to leave an address on 1100 block of 108th Street.

3:31 a.m. - 20-year-old woman arrested and facing charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after vehicle check on Highway 4.
