North Battleford RCMP responded to more than 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 28 and 6 a.m. Thursday, May 29.
Among those calls were two false alarms, two municipal bylaw complaints, 11 traffic complaints/files and two false/nuisance 911 calls.
Wednesday
10:27 a.m.- Complaint of a possible impaired driver on 101st Street, driving dangerously. Subject located and found to be in medical distress, and taken to hospital.
1:16 p.m.- Report of a possible assault or sexual assault from several days earlier. Few details provided or available at this timeas complaint came forward third hand.
1:23 p.m.- Two women, ages 36 and 42, arrested after complaint of several people fighting/arguing on 101st Street. Two other subjects were also located and warned to leave area.
2:15 p.m.- 33-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance, extremely intoxicated and bothering people on 101st Street.
3:31 p.m.- Report of a vehicle damaged early Sunday morning while parked in a lot on 1400 block of 102nd Street.
7:33 p.m.- 65-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, found sleeping on 10th Avenue.
7:55 p.m.- Shoplifting complaint on 101st Street. 57-year-old man arrested and facing one count of theft under $5,000.
8:51 p.m.- Two bikes reported stolen from 114th Street, a green BMX and a red BMX.
10:24 p.m.- 911 call of an assault/fight between two women on Diefenbaker Drive. Subjects involved located a short distance away but all parties unco-operative.
10:46 p.m.- Report of shoplifting from a business on 101st Street. Suspect located later in evening. 23-year-old man arrested and facing charges of theft under $5,000, obstruction, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon and failing to comply with an undertaking. Subject also had warrants for arrest out of Edmonton, Alta. and Meadow Lake. Remains in custody and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Thursday.
Thursday
12:05 a.m.- Complaint of a sexual assault from earlier in evening from 103rd Street. Suspect known to victimhas been identified,buthas not yet been located. Charges currently pending.
12:58 a.m.- Attempted theft/shoplifting complaint at a business. Suspect grabbed an empty box and fled down 101st Street with it.
1:01 a.m.- Several reports made of loud banging/possible gunshots in area of 110th Street and 12th Avenue. No one injured or damage to property discovered or reported. No witnesses to source of noise that has yet to be confirmed.
1:14 a.m.- Several unwanted intoxicated persons in complainant's yard on 110th Street. 21-year-old man located and arrested.
2:08 a.m.- 26-year-old man arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over .08 after vehicle stop on 101st Street.
