Between 6 a.m. Aug. 10 and 6 a.m. Aug. 11, Battlefords RCMP responded to about 50 calls for service, including the following:
Aug. 10
• 8:23 a.m. - Vehicle parked on the 2000 block of 95th Street was gone through overnight. Nothing reported missing.
• 8:29 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence in North Battleford alleged to have occurred earlier in the morning. No injuries. Complainant has not been cooperative with police in providing an initial statement as of this time. Investigation is ongoing.
• 11:11 a.m. - A white 2012 Ford F250 reported stolen from the 1800 block of 95th Street between 1 and 3 a.m. Vehicle has Saskatchewan license 066 HQT.
• 1:26 p.m. - Vehicle parked on the 800 block of 99th Street had a window damaged some time between the 8th and 10th of August.
• 2 p.m. - 17-year-old youth arrested at a residence on 105th Street after having been reported as being unlawfully at large from a facility in North Battleford two days earlier. Was to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11.
• 2:16 p.m. - 24-year-old woman arrested for theft under after a report of shoplifting at a business on Carlton Trail.
• 2:52 p.m. - A vehicle parked on the 300 block of 29th Street in Battleford had tires slashed some time on the 9th of August.
• 3:52 p.m. - Report of two missing youth from the 9800 block of Territorial Drive. One located a short time later. Lane Dreaver, 14, has yet to be located. He is from the city of North Battleford. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, shorts and white running shoes.
• 5:27 p.m. - Report of a rock thrown through a window of a vehicle parked on the 200 block of 27th Street some time over the previous night.
• 5:54 p.m. - 24-year-old man arrested for theft under after a report of shoplifting at a business on Carlton Trail.
• 8 p.m.- A 19-year-old male from Ontario is facing charges of impaired driving, driving while over .08 and failing to remain at the scene of a collision after a hit and run reported at 22nd Street and Highway 4 in Battleford. The accused was located and arrested by members without incident a short distance away.
• 9:44 p.m. - Three young girls reported to be going into a vehicle on the 1400 block of 109th Street, ran away when confronted by owner.
• 9:52 p.m. - Report of an assault at residence on the 1300 block of 103rd Street. Upon arrival the suspect was already gone from the scene. The victim was not injured during the incident. Charges are currently pending against a 28-year-old male from North Battleford for one count of assault.
• 10:01 p.m. - Report of a vehicle gone through while parked on the 900 block of 108th Street, believed to have occurred in the hour prior to reporting.
Aug. 11
• 3:51 a.m. - Call of two people yelling and causing a disturbance on Trudeau Street. Two women, ages 19 and 21, located and arrested for causing a disturbance, both very intoxicated and fighting on the street.
Police also responded to four false/nuisance 911 calls, 10 minor disturbance reports, three alarms, two Mental Health Act complaints, six traffic investigations and one subject who was arrested for alcohol-related offence.
