Battlefords RCMP police are investigating a shooting incident in the city that happened overnight on Jan. 2.
At 9:40 a.m. that morning Battlefords RCMP responded to a residence on 107 St. in North Battleford. According to police, residents of the house had discovered what appeared to be bullet holes in the siding of the home, and dents in the door consistent with bird shot from a shot gun. The weapon used, or what may have caused the damage, has not been confirmed at this time, say the RCMP.
There were no known injuries of a result of this incident at this time, according to police. The matter remains under investigation.
