The Maidstone Museum's annual silent auction, in conjunction with the trade fair was held April 6 and 7.
The weather soon co-operated and helped this two-day event to be a success. The attendance was great and the venture was a financial success for the museum.
Museum members acknowledge the generosity of all who gave articles to be bid on and all cash donations received. Also appreciated was the support of those who worked, some for three days. A significant amount of work by few people goes into making this event the success it was. The winners of the raffle were: ladies - Meline Fruston, Neilburg; men - Dane Speers; family - Rob Bullock; and kids - Debbie Nosek.
