North Battleford Fire Department crews responded to the 1400 block of 106th Street in North Battleford on Wednesday in response to a smoke alarm.
It turned out to be a false alarm. The smoke detector activated in the building, however it proved to be a false alarm. It was determined the alarm had sounded due to a low battery.
One pumper and three firefighters responded and were on scene for a little over ten minutes.
