Solid turnout for Ears and Beers

There was increased attendance this year for the Ears and Beers Night put on by the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

There was increased attendance this year for the Ears and Beers Night put on by the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

About 100 people, including folks from far-off places such as Saskatoon and even Pierceland were on hand for the dinner, held at Legion Branch No. 9 in Battleford. Many in attendance remarked the dinner was even better this year, highlighted by corn on the cob.

It was the second annual event, with proceeds going to the operations of the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

Among those who showed up was Larry Ingram, the Liberal candidate running for Parliament in Battlefords-Lloydminster.
