Two men, one of them from the Sonningdale area, died in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 41 about two kilometres east of near Wakaw Monday at about 4:25 p.m.
The deceased have been identified as an 82-year-old male from the Biggar area and a 64-year-old male from the Sonningdale area. The matter remains under investigation by the Wakaw RCMP.
Both lanes of Highway 41 were closed for several hours for the investigation.
Upon response to the crash RCMP found a truck in the north ditch with two occupants who were obviously deceased.
The second vehicle was a 1993 Freightliner semi-tractor pulling a trailer with non-dangerous goods.
