Stewardship in the community

The Holy Family School Stewardship Group raised money to donate to two different organizations this year. They held a candy gram sale for Valentine’s Day and they also created rosaries and loom bracelets.

The Holy Family School Stewardship Group raised money to donate to two different organizations this year. 

They held a candy gram sale for Valentine’s Day and they also created rosaries and loom bracelets.

 They decided to donate the money raised to Crystal’s Home and to the Lighthouse in North Battleford.

Accepting the cheque for the Lighthouse were Caitlin Glencross, manager of the Lighthouse and her co-worker Melody Stade. On behalf of Crystal’s Home, Katy Haydon accepted the cheque. Stewardship Group members in attendance were Jaylyn Schulkowsky, Rae Mae Tabucon, and Abraham Galman. 

The cheques were presented to the organizations by Carol Zurevinski, leader of the Stewardship Group, June 29.

The Stewardship Group also delivered Meals on Wheels and collected food for the Food Bank.The Stewardship Group not only raised money this year but also painted a new mural and some ceiling tiles to beautify Holy Family School with religious topics.
