WILKIE — Kerstin Jensen can add a lottery win to her list of reasons to be grateful to her mom.
The Wilkie resident won $10,000 on a scratch’n win ticket she found in her Christmas stocking.
Jensen scratched the 10 tickets in a $20 Player’s Choice Mega Pack on Christmas morning. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she uncovered the win on the dice-themed Roll’em ticket.
“We had a round of high-fives,” she said.
She said she plans to put her windfall towards her education.
Jensen’s winning ticket was purchased at Feudal Co-op, located on Highway 14 in Perdue.
