Battlefords RCMP responded to fewer than 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Jan 22.
Tuesday
3:30 p.m. - Recovered stolen snowmobile. Investigation ongoing.
4:14 p.m. - 14-year-old reported missing from 110th Street. Located later in day.
7:30 p.m. - Report of a man at a home on 103rd Street causing damage. 36-year-old located on scene arrested for mischief. No charges pursued as per wishes of complainant.
8:05 p.m. - 14-year-old reported missing from 97th Street. Turned out simply at another family member's residence. Cleared up quickly.
11:37 p.m. - 911 call to a residence on 108th Street. Report of an assault in progress. 45-year-old male arrested and now facing charges of three charges of assault, resisting arrest, and causing an animal unnecessary suffering after kicking a dog in anger in front of the police responding to call. Held in custody and appeared in court Wednesday
