Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 50 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

7:28 a.m. - Report of a theft of a licence plate taken off a pick up truck. Stolen plate is a B.C. marker, G44704.

7:56 a.m. - Personal items reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 2000 block of 102nd Crescent overnight. 

8:10 a.m. - Report of a stolen trailer from 109th Street in North Battleford sometime over the previous evening. Trailer was recovered by police in the early afternoon at another location in the city.

9:54 a.m. - Report of a man at a residence on the 1400 block of 103rd street and damaging the windshield of a vehicle parked there. Individual known to victim has been identified and charges are currently pending against the 29-year-old man of mischief, theft, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. 

1:49 p.m. - Hit and run on the 1400 block of 97th Street. Suspect vehicle described as a white Chevrolet truck with a teal stripe down the middle. Incident occurred shortly before noon.

1:57 p.m. - Report of a 13 foot trailer with license 742KEN stolen from 400 block of 16th Street in Battleford some time over the previous evening.

3:54 p.m. – Two-vehicle collision at Battleford Crossing in Battleford. No injuries reported. The male driver of one vehicle has been charged with failing to yield while turning left and driving while suspended. 

4:37 p.m. - Complaint made of an assault alleged to have occurred in February of this year. Both parties involved known to each other.

4:51 p.m. – 47-year-old woman arrested after a report of shoplifting at a business on Territorial Drive.

7:50 p.m. - Male reporting he was assaulted sometime over the weekend. Limited details provided at this time, matter remains under investigation.

Wednesday, Oct. 4

2:21 a.m. - A vehicle check on Highway 16 near North Battleford conducted and three males arrested found to be in violation of release conditions. Two adult males ages 19 and 22 and a third male youth arrested and charged.

Police also responded to three false/nuisance 911 calls, two alarms, nine disturbance complaints, 13 traffic investigations, one minor collision, one Mental Health Act matter, one person reported missing who has already been located and four arrests were made for alcohol related offences.
