Stolen truck really just misplaced

More 60 calls for service/occurrences were reported to North Battleford RCMP over a 48-hour period from 6 a.m. Saturday, July 5 to 6 a.m. Monday, July 7.

More 60 calls for service/occurrences were reported to North Battleford RCMP over a 48-hour period from 6 a.m. Saturday, July 5 to 6 a.m. Monday, July 7.

Among those were four false alarms,seven false/nuisance 911 calls, one assistance in a Social Services matter,seven traffic complaints and four municipal bylaw/noise complaints.

Saturday

6:03 a.m. - 911 call of an unwanted intoxicated person at a residence on 19th Avenue. Both occupants of the residence were found to be intoxicated and neither wanted the other at the home. Members drove one of the subjects to another residence so subjects could cool down.

6:04 a.m. - Rocks thrown through a house window on Trudeau Street. No suspects yet identified.

6:10 a.m. - Caller kicked an intoxicated man out of his house after apparently drinking with him all night and now wants members to find him and put him in jail. Subject not located.

8:08 a.m. - Call of an altercation in the hallway of an apartment building on St. Laurent Drive. Located female victim at her apartment, suffering from minor injuries. 26-year-old male suspect was located approximately a block away and arrested. He has since been charged with one count of assault. He was later released from custody on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on July 17 at 9 a.m.

8:44 a.m. - Call of a truck stolen from Kildeer Drive. Complainant advising stolen by his ex wife's son. Vehicle later located by complainant who advised it was never stolen, he just forgot where he parked it.

2:41 p.m. - Report of several men out front of a residence on 110th Street arguing and it appears looking to fight. Members attended and located subjects in a home. No disturbance occurring any longer and subject warned about noise and activity.

3:20 p.m. - Conditions check at a residence on 108th Street. 18-year-old man found to be violationof probation order, intoxicated and decided to threaten checking officers that he would shoot them. Arrested and now charged with uttering threats and two counts of breach of probation. Remanded into custody and will appear in court Monday.

3:20 p.m. - Call of unknown people knocking at a residence on 110th Street and not leaving. Two intoxicated men, 27 and 31, located and arrested for mischief. No charges pursued by complainant and subjects held in custody until sober.

4:02 p.m. - Vehicle and bike collision on 106th Street. Bike rider found to be grossly intoxicated with warrants for his arrest outstanding. Not injured in collision. Arrested and held in custody until sober.

4:19 p.m. - Call of an intoxicated man sleeping at the bottom of some stairs on 110th Street. Subject fell down stairs then fell asleep at the bottom. 21-year-old man was checked at scene and found to be uninjured, arrested for mischief and held in custody until sober.

6:44 p.m. - Report of teenagers hiding in the bushes off Territorial Drive and throwing water balloons at passing cars. Members attended area but suspects not located.

8:10 p.m. - Complaint of ex throwing complainant out of the house. No address provided and subject would not answer any call backs.

8:14 p.m. - Numerous intoxicated persons causing a disturbance on 104th Street. 29-year-old man charged with obstruction for providing a false name and six counts of failing to comply with an undertaking. He was remanded and held in custody until his first appearance Monday. 34-year-old man arrested for public intoxication facing Liquor Act charges. 29-year-old woman also arrested and charged for public intoxication. Three other subjects warned and advised to leave area.

8:36 p.m. - Report of some youth entering a parked car on 108th Street. Patrols for suspects negative.

9:25 p.m. - Report of a suspicious man chasing people on 96th Street. Possible suspect identified and appears to have been in violation of the conditions of a conditional sentence order. Investigation ongoing.

9:34 p.m. - Report of several people drunk and fighting on 15th Avenue who have now separated and left area. No suspects located.

10:33 p.m. - Two suspicious males attended a home on 102nd Street. Appear to have been looking for a previous occupant of home. Suspects left when they did not locate person they were searching for. Investigation ongoing.

11:22 p.m. - Several noisy party complaints in relation to a residence on 95th Street. Subjects warned and no further complaints received.

11:54 p.m. - Patrolling member located an unsecured vehicle on Bunce Crescent that appeared to have been gone through, door left ajar.

Sunday

12:26 a.m. - Complainant reporting she was assaulted and had a window damaged at a residence on 100th Street. Suspects known to complainant and identified. Investigation ongoing.

2:10 a.m. - Noisy party complaint on Mackenzie King Crescent. Members attended and warned owner who shut down party.

3:03 a.m. - Another noisy party complaint at a residence on 105th Street,subjects told to move inside and keep noise down. Suspects complied and no further complaints.

3:27 a.m. - Complaint of unwanted persons/fights at a house party on Mackenzie King Crescent. Offending persons had left already when police arrived and home cleared.

5:00 a.m. - 911 call from a residence on Mackenzie King Crescent, caller stating someone was trying to kill her. When members arrived she was pretending to sleep. Confirmed with other occupants of the home she was the caller, no one was trying to harm her, she was just drunk. 25-year-old arrested for mischief and held in custody until sober.

5:04 a.m. - Caller calling 911 from a cell phone, she is hitchhiking from Big River to North Battleford but has no idea where she is and thinks she is in Prince Albert. Located subject on highway near North Battleford, very intoxicated. Arrested and held in custody until sober.

5:57 a.m. - Report of people fighting at a residence on 102nd Street. Upon arrival several intoxicated persons located, no one co-operative about circumstances of call. 28-year-old man arrested found to be violation of conditions of his undertaking, charged and remanded into custody until Monday. Four children apprehended from home as no sober adults in home.

6:01 a.m. - 911 hang up call at a residence on 102nd Street. Caller found to have outstanding warrants and arrested.

8:32 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on 109th Street earlier in the morning. Complainant not injured and suspect has since left. Investigation ongoing.

10:20 a.m. - Complaint of harassing and threatening text messages. Suspect warned as per wishes of complainant.

3:41 p.m. - Unwanted person at a residence on St. Laurent Drive. Complainant also very intoxicated wants another drunk person to leave. Suspect left when police called and everyone now happy.

6:43 p.m. - Report of subject violating a no contact order. Investigation ongoing.

10:08 p.m. - 24-year-old man arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, found very intoxicated at a business on Railway Avenue East.

11:15 p.m. - Report of an unknown person trying to get into a residence on Bunce Crescent. Entry not gained and suspect(s) left area. Area searched with assistance of Police Dog Unit, no suspects located.
