Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 140 calls for between 6 a.m. Sunday, May 17 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 18.

Sunday

• A 25-year-old man is facing charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a vehicle stop on Highway 16 west at 5 p.m.

• A 28-year-old man was arrested and is facing a charge of obstruction after a call of a disturbance on the 1100 block of 107th Street at 6:12 p.m. The man was arrested on scene and provided a false name. Once his identity was established he was also found to be on a conditional sentence order and is also facing an allegation of violating this order. He was remanded into custody and made his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Tuesday.

• At 8:54 p.m. received a report of two males in a boat in the Lehman Creek area of Murray Lake firing a .22 calibre rifle at a beaver dam. Patrols for subjects were negative, perpetrators have not yet been identified.

• Call at 8:54 p.m. of a disturbance on Thompson Crescent. Found to be a struggle between two suspected shoplifters and a storeowner. Two male suspects identified. Matter remains under investigation.

• A 23-year-old man was arrested and is facing two counts of assault after allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend and pushing another woman who was attempting to call police for assistance. The incident occurred at a residence on the 1400 block of 109th Street shortly after 10 p.m. Accused was remanded into custody and made his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Tuesday.

Monday

• Call at 1:40 a.m. to a residence on the Saulteaux First Nation. A man was at the residence and was on conditions to have no contact with occupants. A 27-year-old man  left scene prior to police arrival and has three pending charges of failing to comply with an undertaking.

• A 22-year-old woman was arrested and now facing a charge of breach of probation after a call at 2:30 a.m. advising there was an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance at a residence on the 900 block of 112th Street.

• Report at 9:46 a.m. of a vehicle parked on the 1100 block of 108th Street gone through sometime over the previous night, some personal effects missing. 

• Charges under the 911 Act for false or frivolous calls pending against a 26-year-old man after three 911 calls from a man at a residence on Winder Crescent shortly after 3 p.m. who was contacting 911 operators to let them know he was drunk.

• Report of a hit and run in a parking lot on the 3000 block of 99th Street that occurred at approximately 3:55 p.m. Suspect vehicle struck a parked grey Toyota Tundra then fled scene.

• 63-year-old man arrested and facing charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after a vehicle stop on Highway 16 east of North Battleford at 4:15 p.m.

• A white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with licence 250 JSF reported stolen from the 1200 block of 107th Street at 10:20 p.m. Theft believed to have occurred sometime between the afternoon of May 16 and the time of complaint.

Tuesday

• Report of shoes stolen from Carlton Trail at 2:41 p.m. Surveillance footage available. 

• Received report at 5:37 p.m. of a break and enter to a residence in the North Battleford rural area some time over the preceding two days. Personal property reported stolen or damaged.

• At 6:24 p.m. members responded to a 911 call at a residence on the Saulteaux First Nation reporting an intoxicated woman at the residence who was violent and in possession of a bat. A 25-year-old woman was located and arrested at scene and is facing charges that include assault and failing to comply with probation. Matter remains under investigation.

• Hit and run in a parking lot on the 800 block of 99th Street reported at 8:20 p.m. Suspect vehicle witnessed striking a parked vehicle and fleeing scene. 

Wednesday

• 911 call made from a residence on the Moosomin First Nation at approximately 1 a.m. Two men attended to a residence and one assaulted the resident there when she did not allow them to stay at the home. A 27-year-old man has been identified as the suspect in this matter and charges are pending for assault and uttering threats. 

• Report at 3:10 a.m. of four youths, approximately 12 year of age, going through a car on the 800 block of 106th Street. Suspects last seen fleeing north.

• Vehicle entered while parked on Foley Drive. Offence discovered at 4:52 a.m.

Thirteen people were arrested from alcohol related offences. Members responded to five false 911 calls, 21 traffic matters, seven alarms, 12 bylaw complaints, 20 disturbance complaints, three Mental Health Act investigations, one Child Welfare Act matter, four people reported missing who have all been located and 2 other minor collisions.
