Structure fire not suspicious

Battlefords RCMP responded to 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, including a case of tire slashing and a structure fire.

Tuesday

7:55 a.m. - Tires on vehicle parked on 1400 block of 114th Street slashed sometime overnight.

7:58 a.m. - People yelling/fighting at residence on 1800 block of St Laurent Drive. Several intoxicated person warned under noise bylaw.

8:44 a.m. - Report of intoxicated person on St Laurent Drive banging on people's doors and waving at school buses. When subject located she then called one of the arresting officers ugly. 38-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication and held in custody until sober.

9:35 a.m. - Vehicle fire on 900 block of 102nd street. North Battleford Fire dispatched to scene and contained.

11:20 a.m. - Police assistance requested, complainant wanting to known how to handle a situation where an unwanted guest sometimes comes over, complainant lets him in the houseand complainant does not want him there. It was suggested to maybe try not letting him in.

3:19 p.m. - 39-year-old male arrested for public intoxication on 1100 block of 101st Street. Reported to be bothering customers of a business. Held in custody until sober.

3:55 p.m. - Minor two-vehicle collision reported at Frontier Mall Parking Lot. No injuries.

8:00 p.m. - Fire, ambulance and police dispatched to a structure fire on 900 block of 101st Street. Fire controlled quickly, not suspicious.

8:08 p.m. - 33-year-old male arrested for public intoxication on 1300 block of 101st Street.

9:15 p.m. - 17-year-old youth in violation of court ordered curfew during checks. Remains at large.

10:03 p.m. - 29-year-old male arrested for public Intoxication on 1100 block of 100th Street.

Wednesday

1:47 a.m. - Male entering a home unlawfully in search of one of the residents. Left when he did not locate them. All subjects known to each other. Complainant did not wish to pursue charges. Perpetrator warned.
