EAsT CENTRAL — A new survey aims to understand what local business needs to help deal with the pandemic.
The survey is hosted by the Mid-Sask Municipal Alliance in conjunction with the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce, Watson and District Chamber of Commerce, and the Watrous Manitou Marketing Group.
It can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/MSMA and will close at noon on Friday, April 3.
Brent Fitzpatrick, the Humboldt chamber’s executive director, said the survey will provide results that his organization can use to support its members. He said it’s known that COVID-19 is affecting businesses.
“What we don't know are all of the aspects that businesses are looking for support, help and guidance,” he said.
“It's really a good time to start asking these questions because once we're through this era of restrictions that we're all in right now, we then have to look at how we rebuild the business community. This is a good setup for that.”
The executive director said businesses should fill out the survey because it will let them focus on what’s important.
“I just want to hope everybody would take a couple of minutes to fill it out because it, honestly, only takes five minutes,” he said. “We're all just trying to do the right thing and help our communities survive this pandemic.”
