Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 40 calls for service between Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24.
Tuesday
• Report of a shoplifting incident at 11:19 a.m. at a business at the Frontier Mall. Suspect described as 5'4", bald, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
• Another report of shoplifting from a business on Territorial Drive at 12:32 p.m. Surveillance footage captured images of two persons of interest police are seeking to identify in relation to this incident.
• 911 call at 7:17 p.m. on the Sweetgrass First Nation reporting a disturbance in the area. A vehicle was located and stopped by members and one occupant was arrested on scene and found to be in possession of marijuana and is facing charges. Two other occupants of the vehicle were arrested as well, but have since been released from custody without charges.
• Charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 are pending against a 22-year-old woman after a vehicle stop on Highway 4 north of North Battleford at about 10 p.m.
• 911 call to a residence on the Moosomin First Nation reporting someone smashing windows just before midnight. Still under investigation.
Wednesday
• Call shortly before 5 a.m. reporting three youth around 12 to 14 years of age on the 800 block of 107th Street, appear to be going through a garage or other property in the area.
Police also arrested two people on alcohol related matters and responded to two false 911 calls, six traffic matters, one alarm, four disturbance complaints, one reported missing person who was found, one collision, one child welfare matter and two bylaw complaints.
