RCMP are investigating two scenes in relation to a sudden and suspicious death at a residence in Kerrobert.
Kindersley RCMP received a call about a sudden death at a residence in Kerrobert around 5 a.m. Wednesday. Members attended the residence there and located a deceased adult male. According to police the initial investigation indicates the death is suspicious in nature.
The victim’s identity has not been confirmed and an autopsy is being ordered.
Kindersley RCMP are also securing a scene northwest of Luseland in the RM of Heart's Hill. According to police, investigators believe the two scenes are related, but the investigation is still in its early stages at this time. Police say there is no threat to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing and includes RCMP Major Crimes Unit - South, RCMP Meadow Lake Police Dog Services, and RCMP Forensic Identification Section - Saskatoon.
Local residents can expect to see increased police presence at the location northwest of Luseland and in Kerrobert. People are asked to stay away and respect all barricades and any direction given by police at these locations.
