Between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday Battlefords RCMP responded to 20 occurrences. Three of those were false alarms.
Thursday
10:12 a.m. - Report of suspicious person near some yards/homes on Borden Crescent. Complainant did not recognize subject who appeared to be checking doors. Patrols to area negative, and no further related complaints received.
10:40 a.m. - 17-year-old youth arrested on 1700 block of 110th Street for possession of marijuana. Subject later released. No charges laid yet, matter still pending.
12:10 p.m. - Gas and dash reported on Highway 16 Bypass. Suspect vehicle described as older red model Chevrolet with five tires in the box.
3: 20 p.m. - Reported theft of a pre-paid cash card from a residence on the 800 block of 107th Street. Possible suspect has been identified and matter remains under investigation.
6:55 p.m. - 15-year-old youth reported missing. Several possible locations for subject checked with negative results. Located by family just prior to 11:00 p.m.
