Another spring ritual is back.
That's right - North Battleford's street sweepers are out cleaning the city streets, which are still covered in dirt after what was a mild winter.
At Monday's council meeting Councillor Trent Houk got confirmation during an inquiry of public works director Stewart Schafer that the City's street sweeper is back in operation.
"Our sweeper is going full tilt," said Schafer.
Schafer adds they will be providing services with a contractor next week so there will be two sweepers cleaning the city. The hope is for the two sweepers to clean the city up "as quickly as possible," said Schafer.
