Table Mountain has announced its Annual Family Fun Day and Social will take place March 24 from 6 p.m. to midnight, with all proceeds going to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
The day will feature a large slate of activities, including a treasure hunt, leg burner race, tug of war, "Sno X" race, a free afternoon, a meet and greet with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the CHFS mascot, Dr. Marcus Wellbear.
"Our staff and local businesses have really embraced the event and we are all in for a fantastic evening for such a great cause," explained Heahter Blouin, Table Mountain Regional Park's director of marketing and sales. One of Table Mountain's staff members also agreed to shave his hair off if enough money was raised during the day.
The evening will feature a steak supper and a JayDee AgTech free late night barbecue, night skiing, a silent auction and a performance by Codie Prevost.
Tickets can be purchased at the Table Mountain Rental Shop or by calling Heather at 937-2920 ext. 0. Tickets are $45 and must be purchased before March 22 at 5 p.m.
