Electrical wire was stolen from an industrial yard in the Maidstone/Rush Lake area sometime between May 14 and 17.
According to Lloydminster Rural RCMP perpetrators took the wire off six spools and left the spools behind. The wire wasn't stripped and was still encased in plastic.
Police say the value of the stolen wire is approximately $10,000.
Lloydminster Rural RCMP remind rural residents to keep an eye out for suspicious or unknown vehicles or people in that area at unusual hours.
