Three killed in fiery ATV collision near Dillon

Three adults, a 44-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man, were declared deceased at the scene by local EMS.

One woman was transported to hospital in Île-à-la-Crosse for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.

DILLON — Three people are dead and one is injured after a collision between two ATVs on Highway 925, just outside of Dillon.

On July 1 at approximately 11:13 p.m., Dillon RCMP received a report of the collision. At the scene they located the two ATVs, which were on fire. Nurses from the Buffalo River Dene Nation Health Centre were on scene providing first aid to those involved in the collision.

Officers contacted Dillon Fire Department to extinguish the fires. Additional officers from Buffalo Narrows were also called to assist with traffic control and scene security.

Three adults, a 44-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man, all from the Dillon RCMP Detachment area, were declared deceased at the scene by local EMS. Their families have been notified of their deaths and victim services have been made available.

The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
