STAR CITY — There was a three-vehicle collision on Highway 3 approximately two kilometres west of the Star City junction.
The Melfort Fire Department said on their Facebook page they responded to a two-vehicle collision on March 12 at 5:46 a.m.
As they worked, a third vehicle collided into one of the vehicles that was already involved.
The fire department set-up traffic control and assisted EMS in loading all the patients into the ambulance.
Melfort RCMP said in a release sent at 6:30 a.m. there were minor injuries. The eastbound lane was closed for a period of time.
Police are asking motorists to slow down and use caution due to icy road conditions in the area.
