From the Tisdale Recorder files, March 20, 1968
Hunter Safety 1968

Twenty-four young people from Tisdale and district are taking part in a hunter safety course sponsored by Tisdale branch of the Fish and Game League.

Here, Hunter Safety Chairman Duff Fenton offers advice on range procedure to Edith Ives, the only female member of the class.

Looking on beside her are Al Hooper, left and Gary Deschamps, right. In the background can be seen some of the other members of the class. Mr. Fenton stated he hoped more girls would register for future classes.

Instructors for the course are Jim Boxall, Karl Mauss and Derek Stanley.

It will be completed at the month end with a presentation of certificates and crests to those passing the exams.
