More than 30 files/calls for assistance were dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday

These included five alarm calls ,all found to be false, one arrest for public intoxication and several complaints of erratic driving.

Tuesday

844 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1400 block of 103rd Street had window smashed some time over previous night. Nothing missing inside.

10:11 a.m. - Theft of a purse from a vehicle parked on the 2500 block of 99th Street.

10:13 a.m. - Break and Enter to a residence on the 700 block of 100th Street reported. A suspect has been identified. Charges are still pending and the investigation is ongoing.

10:46 a.m. - A grey 2013 Honda Civic with the Saskatchewan license 326 IYQ reported stolen from the Highway 16 bypass. Possible suspects described as a white male and white female, both in their 20s.

12:00 p.m. - A vehicle parked on the 1900 block of St Laurent Drive was entered overnight. No damage or items reported missing.

1:27 p.m. - Gas and dash reported on 16 Highway Bypass. Subjects located and spoken to and are to return to settle bill.

4:07 p.m. - Hit and run, believed to have occurred between 3 and 3:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of 101st Street. Suspect vehicle struck a2003 Mini Cooper S and fled scene.

10:41 p.m. - Vehicle tires slashed on 1700 block of Trudeau Street. Suspect has been identified. Matter still under investigation.
