Tisdale Trojans solidly defeat Regina Pat Canadians 3-1

It was a straight-out 3-1 win for the Tisdale Trojans as they faced the Regina Pat Canadians in SMAAAHL hockey action.

It was a straight-out 3-1 win for the Tisdale Trojans as they faced the Regina Pat Canadians in SMAAAHL hockey action.

The game started great for the Trojans, as Cade Hayes, assisted by Kalen Ukrainetz and Kaden Kohle, scored the first goal with 4:44 left on the clock in the first period.

The second period was quite, but almost three minutes into the third, Ukrainetz, with help from Kohle and Hayes netted another goal for the Trojans. Regina answered back with a power play goal by Eric Houk with eight minutes left on the clock. The Pat Canadians pulled their goalie to try to tie the game, but Jordan Dasko secured the game for the Trojans by scoring into an empty net.

Roddy Ross of the Trojans stopped 19 shots from entering the net. He was declared the Trojans’ star of the game. Jared Thompson of the Pat Canadians stopped 15.
