Heather Beauchesne, physiotherapist, was proud to accept a cheque from Stan Novicki, representative of Hafford/Blaine Lake Community Advisory Network that provided funds for the purchase of a physiotherapy treatment table.

The Hafford Primary Health Care Centre was the recipient of funding for the purchase of a physiotherapy treatment table, which will support both physiotherapy and massage therapy services.

Physiotherapist Heather Beauchesne began providing services to the Hafford facility in November with appointments one day per week. Increased demand for the professional service permitted the centre to expand visiting days to two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday. Individuals must obtain referrals from their health care provider to receive physiotherapy treatment. Saskatchewan Government Insurance and Worker's Compensation Board claims are not processed at the current time.

The Hafford/Blaine Lake Community Advisory Network is a proactive group of local representatives acting on behalf of Hafford/Blaine Lake and surrounding area residents. This advisory network works collaboratively with Prince Albert Parkland Health Region and addresses local health care needs, promotes local health services and identifies heath priorities for the local area.

The Hafford/Blaine Lake Community Advisory Network is pleased to announce the expansion of the services in Hafford to include regular visits from a physiotherapist.

To book an appointment for either massage or physiotherapy services, call the Hafford Clinic at 306-549-2323.
