Maidstone RCMP are investigating a collision between a pickup truck and a CN Rail locomotive at a level crossing in the Paynton area.
Police say the collision occurred at about 5:15 p.m. Monday at a crossing marked with signs but not equipped with crossing arms or lights. The man driving the truck and its lone occupant was not injured.
The crash occurred on Range Road 3230 near Highway 16, but traffic on the highway was not affected.
