It was a busy 24 hours for North Battleford RCMP as members responded to more than 40 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 24 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 25.

Among those calls were seven false/nuisance 911 calls, seven false alarms, two municipal bylaw/noise complaints and six traffic complaints.

Tuesday

4:35 p.m. - 15-year-old youth reported missing from a group home. Located and returned after 10 pm.

6:19 p.m. - Caller called 911 to attend a residence on 110th Street to remove her nephew because he was drunk. When members arrived subject was already gone. Caller was also quite intoxicated. Then caller and another occupant of the home called 911 several more times over the next two or three hours to check if police had located and arrested her nephew yet. So both occupants were arrested and no more 911 calls came from that residence. The members did not find her nephew.

6:28 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at Clements Drive and Territorial Drive. No injuries, both vehicles had to be towed from scene. Cause remains under investigation.

7:02 p.m. - Hit and run on 108th Street around noon. Unknown vehicle causing minor damage to a parked vehicle at that location.

8:02 p.m. - Caller contacted detachment because her nine-year-old son was outside refusing to come in the house and was throwing things at the house. After a brief discussion, caller agreed to deal with matter on her own.
