Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 50 calls between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6.
Wednesday, Oct. 5
10:41 a.m. - A 30-year-old woman was arrested and is facing charges of care and control of a Vehicle while impaired after a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 400 block of 29th Street.
2:52 p.m. – Two-vehicle collision at 13th Avenue and Territorial Drive. A male driver of one vehicle has been charged with proceeding from a stop sign before safe. No injuries reported.
3:22 p.m.- 16-year-old arrested for theft under $5,000 after a reported shoplifting at a business on Carlton Trail.
3:44 p.m. - Break and enter to a community building on the Red Pheasant First Nation sometime overnight. Missing items reported include two gas-powered hedge trimmers.
3:59 p.m. - Report of a shoplifting at a business on Railway Avenue east. Male suspect was identified and was arrested on the morning of Oct. 6 and is facing one count of theft under $5,000.
10:45 p.m. - A red 2004 Ford Ranger supercab with Saskatchewan licence 724IGY stolen from Alfred Crescent in Cochin. Last seen headed north bound on Highway 4.
One person was arrested for alcohol related offences and police responded to four false/nuisance 911 calls, 13 traffic matters, seven disturbance calls, four minor collisions, one alarm, two frauds, one Mental Health Act investigation and four people reported missing, all of whom were located within the noted time period.
