Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 40 calls for service from 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 to 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3 including:
9: 58 a.m. - Report of a two-vehicle collision at 11th Avenue and 107th Street. Driver of one of the vehicles did sustain minor injuries and has been charged with Driving without Due Care or Attention and also Driving Without a License. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were both towed from the scene.
1:21 p.m. - White Chevrolet Cruz struck by unknown vehicle while parked at Territorial Mall parking lot in North Battleford between 12:20 p.m. and 12:40 p.m.
2:20 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 100th Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. One driver has been charged with Failing to Yield to an Oncoming Vehicle when making a left turn.
4:00 p.m. - Truck parked in Meota was damaged some time between Jan. 20 and Feb. 2, unknown person(s) damaged the front end of the vehicle with a broken broom stick.
5:09 p.m. - Report of numerous unwanted persons in a residence on the Moosomin First Nation. Individuals were located partying in a home without the consent of the occupants. Six subjects were arrested, three male and three females between the ages of 15 to 19 were arrested. A 19-year-old male is facing three counts of Breach of Probation, a 17 year old male has been charged with one count of Failing to Comply with an Undertaking, a 17 year old female is being charged with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking, a 15 year old female is charged with 3 counts of Breach of Probation and another 15 year old female with Breaching a Community Sentence Order.
10:08 p.m. - A 43-year-old male arrested and charged with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking, after report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a business in Cochin.
Over this period, RCMP also arrested four persons for alcohol/disturbance related offences, responded to seven traffic matters, seven disturbances, four alarms and two Mental Health Act matters.
