CARROT RIVER — Two people are running for mayor of Carrot River.
On the ballot are Ila Boehm, a current councillor, and Brock lrvine, who works in park maintenance.
The byelection will be held Wednesday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Carrot River Town Council Chambers. Advance polls will be held on Friday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Carrot River Town Office.
The winner will have a short stint as mayor, as the next general election is on Monday, Nov. 9.
