The city of North Battleford has announced some updated precautions taken under its Pandemic Plan as it is now closing a number of city facilities.

These take effect Wednesday, March 18. Closing are the Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre, NationsWEST Field House, Allen Sapp Gallery, Chapel Gallery, the Civic Centre and the Don Ross Arena.

As well, City of North Battleford Leisure Services-run programming and drop-in classes are being postponed during these closures. Passes and memberships will be extended for the length of time of these closures. Private books may proceed if they do not exceed 200 people and these private bookings must not have speakers or attendees who have travelled internationally in the last 14 days.

During this time there will be no public access to North Battleford Fire Hall, the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater treatment Plant. The Waste Management Facility remains open.
