UPDATE: The male has now been located. There is no further threat to the Leask Elementary School and therefore the hold and secure has been lifted.
The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
BACKGROUND: Members from the Blaine Lake RCMP detachment were called early this morning in regards to an unknown male who entered the elementary school on several occasions.
He had his face covered and when approached by the caretaker the unknown male fled on foot.
The Leask Elementary School is currently on hold and secure. The school is safe at this time and officers are on scene.
The male is described as being in his teens around 5'6" and is wearing a brown parka. His last known location was the south side of Leask walking toward the highway at 8:40 a.m.
The RCMP is asking for the publics help in locating this individual.
