Vaccine clinics for children being held in Humboldt, LeRoy, Carrot River

HUMBOLDT, LEROY, CARROT RIVER — A few communities in the region are holding walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics for children ages five to 12 this week.

Humboldt will have its clinic at Jubilee Hall on Thursday, Nov. 25 from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

LeRoy is having its clinic at the LeRoy Memorial Rink on Friday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Carrot River has a clinic at the Community Hall on Friday, Nov. 26 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Across the province, Nov. 23 saw a deluge of requests for pediatric vaccines as they became available in Saskatchewan, enough to bog down the online booking system. Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., more than 12,000 appointments were booked for pediatric vaccinations.
