Between 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, North Battleford RCMP received approximately 50 calls for service.
Saturday, Aug. 15
• There was a report of a collision on the 900 block of 110th Street at 6:52 a.m. A vehicle hit a parked car and then drove away. The suspect vehicle and driver were located and a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at an accident scene.
• A vehicle and a garage on Foley Drive were broken into overnight.
• Two vehicles on Cardinal Crescent were broken into overnight.
• There was an assault reported at a residence on Red Pheasant First Nation at 9:28 p.m. and the incident is still being investigated.
Sunday, Aug. 16
• There was a noise complaint on 104th Street and officers attended and gave a warning to the resident to keep the noise down.
• Officers mediated a verbal argument with a couple after a complaint was made at 2:31 a.m. at a residence on 104th Street.
• There was a complaint of a group of intoxicated people getting into a van on the 1100 block of 100th Street at 2:33 a.m. Officers located the vehicle, which was being driven by an intoxicated 35-year-old woman. The woman was charged with impaired driving and is scheduled to appear in court in September.
• There was a report of a loud house party on the 1300 block of 103rd Street at 4:33 a.m. Officers attended the residence and shut down the party.
• A family dispute was reported on the 1300 block of 103rd Street at 4:38 a.m. and officers mediated the situation and separated the involved individuals for the rest of the night.
There were also four people arrested for alcohol related offences, seven disturbances, one traffic complaint, two nuisance 911 calls, and two false alarms.
