Vandals and thieves active Sept. 9-10

Vandals and thieves were active in Battleford and North Battleford late Sept. 9 and in the early morning hours of Sept. 10.

Battlefords RCMP are currently investigating extensive damage to the historical village at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford. Seven buildings were targeted with most having windows broken, the doors kicked in and some of the artifacts destroyed.

Battleford Central School was broken into, with the suspects causing extensive damage once inside the school.

Battlefords RCMP have received numerous reports of vehicles being vandalized in the city. In addition, perpetrators have gone through unlocked vehicles, stealing various items. These criminal activities usually happen overnight to vehicles parked in residential areas.

Police advise residents to ensure vehicles are locked when unoccupied and to contact RCMP if suspicious person(s) are seen around vehicles.

A TV and money were stolen when a residence on Laurier Crescent was broken into Oct. 7.

Jamie Clay Vandall, 31: uttering threats; sexual assault with a weapon; resisting a peace officer; assault causing bodily harm; forcible confinement.

Bradley Shawn Delorme, 37: assault; mischief.

Candace Blair Mann, 30: mischief; breach of undertaking; failure to appear.
