Battlefords RCMP say three youth have been arrested in connection to another vandalism spree in North Battleford.

According to police, a total of 20 vehicles were reported damaged from the vandalism spree, which happened on the evening of Oct. 28.

Battlefords RCMP were dispatched to look for a vehicle that was seen driving by random parked cars. The occupants inside that vehicle were reportedly smashing the other parked vehicles with a baseball bat.

Members of the Battlefords RCMP were able to locate the suspect vehicle and charged the three youths, who will all appear in provincial youth court later this month.

This is not the first time youths have been charged in North Battleford in connection to vandalism. Earlier this year several youths were charged in a tire slashing and vandalism spree affecting several vehicles.

That spree led to calls from residents for the City to take a second look at the curfew bylaws in place in the community, as well as for stepped-up enforcement.
