Battlefords RCMP had about 60 incidents reported between 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6 and 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7.

Friday, Jan. 6 

8:47 a.m. - Vehicle parked on the 700 block of 100th street in North Battleford reported to have had three tires damaged and sugar poured in gas tank. 

9:56 a.m. - Hit and run on the 1400 block of 100th Street. Victim's vehicle parked at this location between 4 and 4:40 p.m. Jan. 5. The vehicle that left the scene left blue paint on the victim's vehicle and the vehicle would also likely have a damaged taillight.

2:14 p.m. - A 1998 brown Pontiac Trans Sport with Saskatchewan licence 791 KMC stolen from 1600 block of 101st Street in North Battleford. Suspect has been identified and is known to the vehicle owner. 

2:59 p.m. - Report of theft of cash by way of fraudulent use of a debit card. Suspect known to victim. 

6:59 p.m. - Residential fence on the 1500 block of 106th Street in North Battleford damaged. 

104:1 p.m. – A 31-year-old man arrested and facing one count of assault after a reported disturbance at a residence on the Moosomin First Nation. No injuries reported.

10:55 p.m. - A 1997 purple Subaru Legacy station wagon with Saskatchewan licence 497 KJA reported stolen from the 1500 block of 103rd Street in North Battleford.

Saturday, Jan. 7

12:14 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on the 1000 block of 108th Street in North Battleford. Accused fled scene prior to members’ arrival but is known to the alleged victim. Male suspect is currently being sought on a pending charge of assault.

1:39 a.m. – 24-year-old woman arrested and facing charges of impaired driving after a vehicle check on Territorial Drive in North Battleford.

4:13 a.m. - Break and enter to a residence in Cochin, police alerted by alarm. Responding members discovered evidence of additional property offences in the area. Suspects in area described as possibly being three young males all wearing grey hoodies. 

4:37 a.m. - Report of an assault on the 1100 block of 100th Street in North Battleford. Victim sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. No arrests yet made, matter remains under investigation. 

Police arrested four individuals for alcohol/disturbance related offences, responded to two alarms, 12 traffic matters, two minor collisions reported, eight disturbance calls, four child welfare complaints, one Mental Health Act investigation and one bylaw complaint.
