A rash of vehicle vandalism has been frustrating North Battleford residents.
Battlefords RCMP reports four individuals have been arrested in relation to multiple vehicle break-ins, vandalism and theft of a vehicle.
Police say during the night of Aug. 26, several vehicles were spray painted and tires were slashed. North Battleford RCMP conducted an investigation, which resulted in a 13-year-old youth being charged with mischief, arson, resisting arrest and six counts of breaching the conditions of an undertaking.
On the morning of Sept. 5, there was a complaint regarding a man who was breaking into vehicles on Bunce Crescent. An officer located a male matching the description and the man tried to run away. The officer was able to catch him and he was found with a backpack containing several stolen items. The 22-year-old mans was charged with mischief, possession of property obtained by crime and resisting arrest. He was held in custody and appeared in court this Tuesday.
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1000 block of 107th Street late Monday, Sept. 7. Officers located the vehicle nearby and arrested a male youth and a female youth in connection with the stolen vehicle. Charges are pending for both youth.
