Battlefords RCMP responded to 46 calls over the period of 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 including the following:
Friday, Oct. 14
9:00 a.m. - Damage to a vehicle door while parked on Henderson Drive overnight. No entry gained.
9:20 a.m. - Blue 1989 Chevrolet Astro Van with Saskatchewan License 387JUQ stolen from 1100 block of 99th Street overnight.
9:25 a.m. - Graffiti to a residence on the 1400 block of 114th Street occurred some time overnight.
10:36 a.m. - Report of an assault which had occurred during the previous week on 102nd Street. Accused and complainant known to each other.
11:57 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1500 block of 94th Street gone through overnight and some change stolen.
1:34 p.m. - Female suspect reported to be stealing items from a public building on 107th Street in North Battleford. Suspect has been identified. Matter remains under investigation.
3:00 p.m. - Report of a theft from a business on 22nd Street in Battleford.
4:43 p.m. - 54 year old male arrested and charged for Failing to Comply with an Undertaking after a report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a license premise in North Battleford.
4:51 p.m. - Forty-one-year-old woman arrested and charged with Theft Under $5000 after reported incident at a business on Carlton Trail.
7:03 p.m. - GMC Envoy with Saskatchewan license 241 KEN reported stolen on morning of October 12th was recovered at 14th Avenue and 109th Street.
10:17 p.m. - Report of complainant receiving unwanted and harassing messages from a known suspect. Investigation is still ongoing.
Saturday, Oct. 15
12:12 a.m. - Jessie Poitras, 16, reported missing from a Youth Group Home. He is described as being about 5'9", 130lbs with short blonde hair and was wearing a black hoodie and jeans when last seen. Police are awaiting a recent photograph of subject to release to the media.
2:06 a.m. - 911 call received from a female on the 800 block of 111th Street, claiming she was in possession of a pellet gun and when police attended she was going to point it at them. Forty-four-year-old suspect was located a short time later, very intoxicated and arrested without incident.
Over the 24-hour period 6 people were arrested for alcohol and/or minor disturbances, police responded to 1 alarm, 7 minor disturbance calls, 6 Child Welfare complaints, 6 Traffic complaints, 1 Mental Health Act matter and 2 minor collisions.
