Vehicles stolen, broken into

Between 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 North Battleford RCMP received approximately 60 calls for service.

Monday, Aug. 17 

• A white Ford F150 truck was stolen from Gregory Drive overnight. It was recovered in Prince Albert.

• There was a report that a vehicle was broken into on 97th Drive in North Battleford sometime during the previous night.

• At 7:28 a.m. there was a report of teenagers breaking into a vehicle on the 1400 block of 92nd Street.  One 18-year-old male was arrested and charged in relation to the incident and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

• Someone broke into a business in Meota overnight and damaged the cash register, trying to get it open, and it was empty of cash.

• There was a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 4 South and 29th Street in Battleford at 10 a.m.  No one was injured in the collision. Both vehicles were towed from the intersection.

• There was a complaint at 1:06 p.m. of a couple arguing loudly in a residence on Winder Crescent. Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old man at that address, who was intoxicated and had a warrant for his arrest. He was held in custody until he was sober.

• A 25-year-old man is being charged with breaching the conditions of his recognizance after he left the address that he was required to be at during the specified curfew hours at 11:23 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 18 

• There was a report of a vehicle stolen from the 500 block of 103rd Street at 2:15 a.m. It is described as a black 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with license plate 642 JKE.

• Someone called in to report an assault at 5:35 a.m. It was discovered the alleged victim had not been assaulted and had merely been kicked out of a house party and was upset.

• A vehicle was broken into on Kramer Place during the previous night. Items were stolen from it, including a line locator transmitter and a GPS unit.

• There was a complaint of a vehicle that was broken into on the 1400 block of 110th Street overnight.

There were also 10 disturbances reported, five traffic complaints, three minor collisions, four nuisance 911 calls and two false alarms.
