Vehicles targeted for theft, damage

Between 6 a.m. Monday, June 22 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, North Battleford RCMP responded to approximately 64 calls for service including:
Monday, June 22
- There was a report of a stolen truck that had been taken from the 1400 block of 104th Street overnight. The stolen vehicle has not yet been recovered.  It is a grey 2006 Ford F150 with Saskatchewan license plate AGB372.
- Someone reported that their vehicle had been broken into overnight on the 1900 block of St. Laurent Drive and items were stolen out of it.
- There were a few complaints from residents of Cardinal Crescent that their vehicles had been broken into overnight.
- There was a report of smashed vehicle windows in Battleford that occurred sometime during the night.
- Someone made a complaint of a theft from their vehicle during the night previous on Maher Drive.
- Officers attended a residence on Centennial Crescent after a request for police assistance at 5:11 p.m. to remove people from her house that were not welcome. The visitors left the house and there were no further issues.
- At 10:30 p.m. someone reported a dumpster fire on the 1600 block of 100th Street, and it had already been extinguished when officers arrived.
- Officers investigated a report of an assault at 11:30 p.m. A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault in relation to the investigation. The man and the victim were known to one another and there were no injuries sustained.
Tuesday, June 23
- Someone reported at 1:41 a.m. that they had been assaulted on the 1100 block of 100 Street, and then would not co-operate with officers and tell them what had happened.
- A 23-year-old man was arrested and held for court for an incident that was reported at 3:53 a.m. on Moosomin First Nation. He has been charged with multiple firearm related offences and for damaging property. No one was injured during the incident.
There were four people that were arrested for alcohol related offences, five disturbances reported, three traffic complaints, three minor collisions reported, one nuisance 911 call, one false alarm, and one person reported missing that has already been located.
