A Neon Charger was destroyed by fire on the 1500 block of 104th Street, North Battleford at approximately 3:20 a.m. Sept. 9. A half hour later, a 1987 grey Nissan Pickup Truck was also destroyed by fire on the 1500 block of 107th Street. Arson is believed to be the cause of both fires.
Sept. 7 at approximately 9:15 p.m., the Battleford's RCMP responded to an armed robbery behind a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street. Two to three non-white men armed with a knife, exited a purple GMC truck that was driven by a non-white female and robbed two men of an undisclosed amount of money. The man with the knife is described as being in his early 20s, approximately 5'11" and wearing a while t-shirt.The victims were not injured. The perpetrators are still at large and the investigation is continuing.
During the early morning hours of Sept. 2, a 1993 green BMW was stolen from 1st Avenue West, Battleford.
Sometime between Sept. 5 and 8, a 2009 white Ford F250 received front end damage while parked on the 900 block of 101st Street.
