Three youth who police say went on a rampage of violence and vandalism in North Battleford early Sunday morning are facing several charges.
Several complaints of several individuals damaging property and assaulting people on Trudeau Street came in to North Battleford RCMP at about 2:30 a.m.
Police say they located and arrested two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old. All three were intoxicated at the time, the RCMP report.
RCMP say their investigation led them to a break and enter to a residence on Thompson Crescent. A man was assaulted outside this first scene before incidents on Trudeau Street where the youth are alleged to have damaged at least four vehicles and assaulted two other individuals, one of whom suffered a broken leg.
Charges faced by the three youths include assault, assault causing bodily harm, break and enter with intent and mischief to property. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
One youth was remanded in custody and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday. The other two youths have since been released to their guardians until their first appearances in September.
