The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fill the following service positions:
Influenza Clinic Volunteers — Personable, friendly and organized volunteers are needed from October to December of 2015 to greet clients and assist with the flow of visitors at public health and PAPHR staff influenza clinics. Flu clinics are held at several Prince Albert and rural sites. Volunteer shifts are 8:30 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Days are flexible, Monday through Friday according to availability.
Special Groups or Individuals – Hafford Special Care Home: These volunteers entertain, give presentations, prepare birthday parties, provide cake and sing for the patients and residents.
Parent-Tot/Family Volunteering Program – Spiritwood and District Health Centre: Parents and their children visit residents on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Shifts are flexible, once or twice per week.
