With just a half hour left before poll closuew, there were still lineupsat polling stations at Alex Dillabough Centre in Battleford tonight.
Those manning the stations said turnout had been steady throughout the day and hadn’t tapered off over the course of the evening.
One worker expressed concern about having to turn voters away if they were still turning up as the polls were due to be shut down at 7:30 p.m.
Those already in the building at the cutoff time would still be allowed to cast their ballots.
