You may want to pay close attention to your dollar bills, because some fakes are in circulation.
Battlefords RCMP is warning the public about fake Canadian currency that contain Chinese characters on them.
According to police, these bills are poor quality and feel more like paper rather than plastic, and they have blue Chinese characters printed on them. A close inspection of the bills will quickly expose them as being fake. They urge any local businesses or residents who may have come into contact with the fake currency to contact the RCMP Detachment.
